Embedded in higher education
Higher education context and the challenges of the future of higher
education are manifold e.g.: new HR policy, improving student experience,
changing assessment strategy, developing summer schools, a new institutional
mission, internationalization, rethinking the research and teaching
relationship, etc.
We are well connected to higher education in the UK from various angels
e.g. we participate in the ”Change
Academy UK”. This event helps teams from higher education institutions
develop the knowledge, capacity and enthusiasm for achieving complex
institutional change. It provides unique opportunities for team-based
learning and professional development that focus on the strategic
interests and needs of the participating institutions.
We work in partnership with the ”Surrey
Centre for Excellence in Professsional Training and Education”.
The Centre is part of a network of centers in England set up by the
Government to reward excellent practice in higher education teaching
and learning and invests in these practices in order to deepen their
impact. Working with students and others, Sceptre supports critical
and creative inquiry to help people develop their capability for learning
in a complex world.
And finally we have our years of experience in teaching and learning,
